The main objectives of the\r\nwell was to determine the lateral extent of the reservoir, to determine the\r\nfluid contacts in the Sognefjord Formation and to obtain the best possible\r\nseismic correlation within the reservoir from well 31/6-1. If hydrocarbons were\r\nencountered the well would be tested to obtain a number of reservoir\r\nengineering parameters: permeabilities and skin, fluid samples, pressure/temperature\r\ndrops in tubing at various flow rates, reservoir inflow at high flow rates, and\r\nbehaviour of gravel pack at high rates.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eOperations and results\u003c/b\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eWell 31/6-7 was spudded with the\r\nsemi-submersible installation Treasure Seeker on 1 April 1985 and drilled to TD\r\nat 698 m in Oligocene sediments. After drilling the 26" hole to 694 m, and\r\nsetting the 20" casing it was discovered that the angle of the 18\r\n3/8" wellhead was 2.5 degrees and it was decided to junk the well. The\r\nwell was permanently plugged and abandoned on 13 April 1985, and the rig was\r\nmoved 50 m due north to spud replacement well 31/6-8.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eTesting\u003c/b\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eNo drill stem test was performed\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n",
