The primary objective was to test the Danian - Late\r\nCretaceous limestone and chalk. Secondary objectives were the Late Cretaceous\r\nand Jurassic where irregular and lens-shaped structures on the seismic records\r\nwere interpreted as possible sandstones with stratigraphically trapped\r\nhydrocarbons.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eOperations and results\u003c/b\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eWell 2/7-17 was spudded with the semi-submersible\r\ninstallation Borgsten Dolphin on 24 June 1980 and drilled to 1600 m in Miocene\r\nsediments. After setting the 13 3/8&quot; casing the casing collapsed, forcing\r\nabandonment of the well. The objectives were not reached. The well was drilled\r\nwith seawater, native solids, gel, and bentonite.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eNo reservoir sections or hydrocarbon\r\nindications were reported in the penetrated sediment column.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eNo cores were cut and no wire line fluid\r\nsamples taken.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eThe well was permanently abandoned on 12\r\nJuly 1980 as a junk well.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eTesting\u003c/b\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eNo drill stem test was performed\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\r\n",
