The primary objective of the well was to\r\ntest sandstones belonging to the Brent and Dunlin group. Secondary objective\r\nwas sandstones in the Statfjord formation.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eOperations and results\u003c/b\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eWildcat well 30/3-2 was spudded with the\r\nsemi-submersible installation Deepsea Saga on 4 July 1980. Due to a strike beginning at July 13 drilling was temporary abandoned at 955 m in Miocene\r\nsediments of the Hordaland Group. The well was drilled with pre-hydrated gel.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eNo cores were cut and no wire line fluid\r\nsamples were taken.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eThe well was suspended on 15 August 1980 and\r\nthe rig was taken to Bergen. The strike was terminated on 14 August and the rig\r\nwas back on location on August 29. The well was re-entered and operations\r\nresumed, now formally as a new well, 30/3-2 R.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eTesting\u003c/b\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eNo drill stem test was performed.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n",
