No significant problems were\r\nencountered in the operations. The well was drilled with spud mud down to 439 m\r\nand water based with lime/Drispac/lignosulphonate mud systems from 438 m to TD.\u003c/span\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp class=MsoBodyText\u003e\u003cspan lang=EN-GB\u003eGood oil show was observed in a thin\r\nsandstone stringer at 1632 m in the Hordaland Group. Oil in cuttings was\r\nrecorded also at 1710 m and 2858 m in claystones. The Ekofisk Formation was\r\nencountered at 3120 m with shows and tested small amounts of oil. The Tor Formation\r\ncame in at 3195 m with shows and tested small amounts of oil. Below 3213.5 m\r\nonly rare and weak fluorescence was observed on limestone.\u003c/span\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp class=MsoBodyText\u003e\u003cspan lang=EN-GB\u003eThe interval 3135-3215 in the Ekofisk and\r\nTor formations was cored with nearly 100% recovery. RFT pressure readings were attempted\r\nin the Tor and Ekofisk formations, but all were unsuccessful due to tight\r\nformation. No fluid samples were taken.\u003c/span\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp class=MsoBodyText\u003e\u003cspan lang=EN-GB\u003eThe well was permanently abandoned on 12\r\nAugust 1977.
