    "wlbHistory" : "\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eGeneral\u003c/b\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eThe prime objective of the well 33/5-2\r\nwas to test a Late Jurassic sandstone reservoir.\u00A0 The Middle Jurassic Brent\r\nGroup and the Early Jurassic Statfjord Formation were considered secondary\r\nobjectives. The Late Jurassic (Early Kimmeridgian) sandstone was assumed to be\r\na continuation of the same deposits recorded at the Magnus Field and in the\r\nwells 211/8-1 and 211/13-3.\u00A0 These deposits constitute the oil reservoir at the\r\nMagnus Field and were also hydrocarbon bearing in 211/13-3. This objective was\r\nconsidered a high-risk prospect since the &quot;Magnus Sandstone Member&quot;\r\nhad previously not been recorded on this side of the 211/13- 33/5- (Makrell-)\r\nhorst. The Brent Group was expected to be as in the wells 211/13-2 and -6 where\r\nit is oil bearing.\u00A0 It was thought to be a typical shallow to marginal marine\r\nsandstone sequence, deposited during shoreline progradation. The location far\r\ndown flank from the crest of the closure was considered to make hydrocarbon\r\noccurrence in the 33/5-2 Brent Group less likely. This was also the case for\r\nthe Statfjord Formation.\u00A0 It was expected to consist of fine to coarse,\r\noccasionally pebbly sandstones with some shale interbeds of fluvial to marginal\r\nmarine origin. The well was planned to drill approximately 50 m into the\r\nStatfjord Formation with an expected total depth at 4525 m.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eOperations and results\u003c/b\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eA number of &quot;pockmarks&quot;\r\ntypically 40 m across and 2 m deep were seen in the northern and eastern part\r\nof the area of the well location. To get some more information about the\r\nuppermost meters of soil, seafloor sampling and analysis were conducted by\r\nIKU.\u00A0 The seabed was found to consist of a fine sand, normally firm with shell\r\nfragments, plastic, silty clay and below greyish green sand. \u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eWildcat well 33/5-2 was spudded with the\r\nsemi-submersible installation Nortrym on 31 July 1981 and drilled to a total\r\ndepth of 4520 m in the Triassic Lunde Formation.
