    "wlbHistory" : "\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eGeneral\u003c/b\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eWildcat well 6407/9-8 was drilled on the\r\nHusmus East structure, situated east of the Draugen Field on the edge of the\r\nTrøndelag Platform on the Mid Norwegian Continental Shelf. The principal\r\nobjective of the well was to test the hydrocarbon potential of the Late\r\nJurassic Rogn Formation in a dip closure trap. Secondary objective was to test\r\nthe potential for gas storage in the Rogn Formation and in the middle Jurassic\r\nGarn Formation. The well was also drilled to acquire additional stratigraphic\r\ninformation on the reservoir development of the Middle and Early Jurassic Ile\r\nand Tilje Formation.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eOperations and results\u003c/b\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eWell 6407/9-8 was spudded with the\r\nsemi-submersible installation West Vanguard on 14 August 1992 and drilled to TD\r\nat 2126 m in the Early Jurassic Tilje Formation. Operations went without\r\nsignificant problems. The well was drilled with seawater and bentonite down to\r\n1120 m, with polymer/gypsum mud from 1120 m to 1582 m, and with KCl/polymer mud\r\nfrom 1582 m to TD.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eNo potential reservoir zones were found\r\nabove the Viking Group, which was penetrated from 1606.5 m to 1730 m. The Rogn\r\nFormation vas poorly developed as a thin (&lt;1 m), well-cemented silty to very\r\nfine sandstone facies with low porosity and permeability. A well-developed Garn\r\nFormation in a sand facies vas encountered, with high porosities and\r\npermeabilities. The well vas terminated in sandstone of the Tilje Formation\r\nafter penetration of Ile Formation sandstone. Both the Garn Formation and the\r\nIle Formations appeared to be suitable for gas injection. The well was entirely\r\nwater wet all through. This was evident from electrical logs, pressure\r\ngradients, and lack of shows on cores and cuttings. Post-well geochemical\r\nanalyses of cores and cuttings confirmed general lack of migrated hydrocarbons.\r\nA total of seven cores were cut in the well with 105.95 m recovered.
